Frequently asked questions

Refunds and Exchanges

Tickets are non-refundable. If you have booked a ticket and are no longer able to attend you have some options:

  • You could let us know so that we can make your seat available to somebody else.
  • You could give / sell your ticket to someone else. If you choose to sell your ticket,
    we ask that you sell it at the price you paid for it.

Either way, we would appreciate it if you could let us know so that we can keep our attendee list up to date.

What are the costs?

Ticket prices cover the costs incurred when running an event of this nature. We pay all of our speakers a speaker fee and do also pay for their travel and accommodation, because without them we would not have a conference. The venue also needs paying for as well as marketing materials to help promote the event. If there is any profit after everything is paid we donate it to the British Heart Foundation, in memory of Leu Thorne.

Sponsorship

In order to keep the tickets at an affordable price for everyone and still create an awesome event, we need sponsorship. This can come in a number of different ways, we have some set packages available, or, this year we have introduced Micro Sponsors.

These are ideal for small businesses and individuals to help support us and available through the Eventbrite booking system. As a special thank you, we will be producing something extra with all of the sponsors, including micro sponsors, listed for you to take away and keep.
